SHALOM!

I want to thank you with all my heart for being such a valued member of our loving family and God-given mission here at Christians Care International. Together, through our acts of love, we are blessing and raising up our suffering brothers and sisters in their greatest time of need. Amen!

When I see the pain and suffering happening around the world, I understand why it can sometimes feel as though our efforts won’t make a difference. But let me assure you—God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us the power to make a difference when we step out in faith. James 2:17 teaches us that faith without action is dead. It is not enough just to believe; our faith comes alive when we live it out. When we turn belief into love, love into service, and service into real change, that is when God works through us in amazing ways.

Let me share a story that illustrates this truth. Fourteen years ago, we welcomed a twelve-year-old girl named Valaria into our Kalaniot Children’s Home. She had already been through so much in her young life, including living in extreme poverty and neglect.

When I first met Valaria, my heart ached for her. Honestly, her pain was so real you could feel it. But here is the remarkable thing—despite everything, this little one’s heart was still full of love and kindness. I could not help but feel that God had something beautiful planned for her. I knew that if our loving family surrounded her with prayer, rehabilitative services, and a safe, caring home, she would begin to rise, heal, and truly thrive.

And thrive she did! After spending six years at Kalaniot and later attending high school in Israel, Valaria blossomed into a vibrant, productive young woman. Today, she is married and raising a beautiful three-year-old daughter. On top of that, she is pouring the love she received from us back into her community. How does a child who once faced such unbearable pain now give so selflessly to others? It is the transformative power of God’s love.

This is what makes our mission so beautiful. It is not just about what we do individually, but what we accomplish together as a family united by faith and love. When we act together, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who did not just preach love—He lived it. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, embraced the outcasts, and He calls us to do the same. When we answer that call together, lives are changed, hope is restored, and God’s love becomes visible in the world.

None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity, your prayers, and your unwavering support are the heartbeat of this mission. You are the reason children like Valaria find hope in the midst of despair. You are the reason broken lives are mended, and futures once thought impossible are now filled with promise.

I want to thank you again for working so closely with us here at CCI. May God bless you abundantly for putting your faith and love into action.
