Meet 8 Year Old Vlad
When our rescue team entered Vlad’s home, they were just heartbroken to see how this sweet little boy was living. Within minutes, it became clear that Vlad was suffering from malnutrition and prolonged neglect. His living conditions were dangerous and posed an immediate threat to his health, safety and wellbeing.
Our team gently approached Vlad’s parents to speak about how their son would be able to thrive in our rehabilitative and loving environment. We also informed his parents, that they too would be able to work with our therapists who could help them get back on their feet once again. After hearing this, Vlad’s parents broke down crying and said, “Yes… Please… Help Us…”
My family, little Vlad is now safe and living in our Children’s Home. He is working very hard with our therapists who are helping him adjust to his new life. Every day is a new step forward as he experiences the security of knowing that there will be food on the table, and feelings of acceptance and unconditional love.
