MEET SASHA
Sasha’s life has been marked by profound heartbreak. He watched helplessly as his father fell from the 4th floor of their apartment, while attempting to fix a window. This heartbreaking accident left his father permanently disabled, taking away the family’s sense of security and replacing it with immense sadness and uncertainty. To add to their pain, his cherished mother is now critically ill, leaving her unable to provide the love and care that Sasha so deeply needs.
When Sasha arrived at our Kalaniot Children’s Home, his silence was heartbreaking. The trauma he had endured left him unable to speak, leaving him unable to express his unbearable pain, loss and fear.
At Kalaniot, kindness and compassion have become Sasha’s refuge. With the unwavering care of our team and the loving support of other children, Sasha is finding his voice again, along with the courage to Dream and Hope for a brighter future.
