Have you ever felt a nudge in your heart—a gentle, persistent voice urging you to go deeper in your spiritual journey? While many of us find comfort in our routines—attending services, reading scripture—we may still sense a gap between what we believe and how we live it out.
Think of the great heroes of the Bible. Their stories are marked by bold, faith-driven action. Abraham stepped into an unfamiliar land, leaving behind everything he knew. Esther entered the king’s court, risking her life to save her people. Their faith was the driving force of their lives. They trusted God enough to take the next step.
My family, this is exactly what God wants from us: to have a faith that moves and a love that acts.
Let’s start with Faith…
When we answer God’s calling to assist in His plan for Israel and the Jewish people, we are not questioning His will. Instead, we are moving our faith into action—blessing and bringing our suffering brothers and sisters home to Israel. And by doing so, the bigger picture emerges. We are also helping to shape the future—a future where the world is united in peace under the One God of Israel.
So, if faith is the engine, then love is the fuel. But just like faith, love is often misunderstood.
A “love that acts” is a practical love and it shows up. Sentimentally love may feel bad for someone who is hungry, but active love makes them a meal. Sentimentally love might cry over the news of a child losing their home and family, but active love rushes to the child’s side, and helps to restore a broken little life.
When you pair a faith that moves with a love that acts, you align yourself with God. You become a vessel that He can use.
As you step out with this new perspective, you will find that the ground is firm beneath you. You will discover a richness of life that the comfortable route could never provide.
Let’s together inject this newfound energy, excitement, and love into our work every day. With our everlasting trust and faith in God, we can help create the world we once only dreamt about.
